We are two active professionals, failures at retirement, attempting to spend as much time as possible in our beloved New Harbor. Marilyn is a musician and has an active piano teaching studio (thus 'Suite') and John is a retired manufacturer of specialty food seasonings and spices (thus 'Thyme'). Now you know why we call our cottage 'Suite Thyme"

Covid-19 Information

You can be assured that Suite Thyme will be sparkling clean and disinfected for  your arrival.  All surfaces including bathroom fixtures, kitchen appliances, electronics, cabinet and door hardware, switch plates, etc. will be disinfected.

​2022 Rates:

We will be open May 14th to October 29th 2022. 

May 14 to  June 25th (Off Season)  $1750/wk

June 25 to Sept. 10  (In Season) $2095/wk

Sept. 10 to Oct. 29  (Off Season) $1750/wk


Shoulder season reservations for 2 weeks will receive a $100.00 discount off the second week. Shoulder season is May 14th-June 11th and Oct 1st-Oct 29th.

50% nonrefundable deposit of rent is due when reservation is made.

Additional 50% of rent,  Maine 9% tax, and $400 refundable damage deposit due 30 days prior to occupancy.


Travelers Insurance is available for your deposit.  Our agent in New Harbor, when sending our lease and request for deposit,  will send along a link to a recommended company.

washer and dryer, WiFi, Cable TV, DVD, landline phone, visible flame gas log
heat, private off street parking, stereo, all linens, towels,  and blankets are provided


Hike the rocks from private access path; walk to village, shops,galleries, and working harbor. Harborside dining; lovely sandy beach,Pemaquid Lighthouse, historic sites, Monhegan Island ferry,sightseeing boats nearby. An artist's and photographer's Paradise!July and August are high season, but don't overlook the serenebeauty of spring and fall when attractions are open, the crowds arethin, and the scenery is fabulous.
